Saturday Hadley and I planned a play date for our kids. We had so much fun! The kids colored Easter eggs early and played at McDonalds. Of course, Hadley and I enjoyed our visit. Well at least for the most part. We didn't enjoy the part where the Apex alarm guy showed up and wouldn't shut up and take no for an answer. We decided we have to do this more often. The kids had so much fun!

What Tyrell has spent spring break doing

My kind husband listened to my nagging and got the bedroom painted! YAY!!!! It turned out so good! I love it and so does he. We even got new bedding and it was awesome to sleep in there last night.

Look What I Can Do!

Kai smiles sometimes now. He doesn't do it a whole lot, but it gets more every day. He does it a lot to Koen. He LOVES his brother. This morning he was smiling for me so I snapped a few pictures. He is getting so big and we sure do love him! Notice that he no longer has that oxygen mask on his face. We got rid of that thing this morning. The doctor says his lungs sound a lot better too! He may cough for another 6 weeks though, because he got sick at such a young age. He is allowed to go on little adventures out of the house now, but is supposed to stay in most of the time to stay away from other peoples germs. She also said that in about a week he won't be contageous anymore.

Poor Kai

This last Thursday Kai got put in the hospital because he has RSV. The virus was making him work really hard to breathe which made him quit eating. I took him to the doctor on Wed and everything was okay, nothing was in his lungs and she told me to just keep a real close eye on him. By Thursday night he was way worse and there was stuff in his lungs and he was lacking a bit of oxygen so he was admitted. He is still in the hospital right now and I don't know when he will be coming home. He is doing better now, though. The oxygen has helped a ton along with breathing treatments for the wheezing. He is eating well and has gained back to 4 ounces he lost. He is still on oxygen, although it isn't as much as he started with. He is way more alert and acting more like himself everyday. We hope to bring him back home soon! A lot of you already know about this and have prayed for us and Kai. We thank you so much for caring and praying. Each person who prays is helping Kai get better!

Kai's Blessing Day

Yesterday Tyrell blessed Kai. He screamed the entire time because he wanted his food, but the blessing was really nice. I am so glad that I have a husband who can bless my children! It is such a blessing to hear him up there giving them a blessing with some guidance for their lives. I sure was able to feel the love he has for Kai and the same for Koen when he did his. I am so glad that the priesthood is in my home! I have him give me blessings all the time, especially when I'm pregnant and feel like something just isn't right. Tyrell is great man!

Bath Time

Well just like Koen, Kai has decided baths are really nice. Koen did this about the same age and still to this day LOVES his baths. He would stay in there all day if I let him. Kai gets mad at the same time every night for his bath since I do it at that time every night. Once he's in he just sits there so content. He used to scream the entire time, but now he enjoys every minute of it.
