Bedrooms

I said I would post new pictures when we got the boys' bunk beds in their room. I also got both their room and Havyn and baby Kael's room all decorated too with their wall stickers so I took new pictures. It was a challenge to get them all nice and clean for the pictures and they will probably never look like this again, but hey I can try. I just really doubt the boys will leave their beds made for an entire hour let alone day anytime in the near future.

Baby Update

So since I last posted on here lots has happened as far as the baby goes. I was just sitting here one day a couple weeks ago and noticed that I had had quite a few contractions in a short amount of time, so I decided that maybe I ought to start timing them. I did and they were 5 min. apart so when Tyrell got home from student teaching I told him, and he was as surprised as I was since at the time I was only 33 weeks pregnant, and the timing was really bad. It was his first day student teaching and the next day he was supposed to go to an all day seminar. We decided it'd be best to go to the hospital and see what could be done. They watched me for about 20 min and decided that they needed to run some tests to see if I was contracting due to an infection or what. The tests all came back that I was fine, other than I was a little dehydrated (which was odd since I had been drinking a ton). They hooked me to an IV in hopes that once I got some fluids in me I would stop having contractions. NOPE! So the next thing they did was give me a shot of this asthma drug that stops labor, but makes your heart race and you get really shaky, and basically it's not fun at all. They can give these shots up to 5 times every 20 min if needed. Unfortunately I took 3 shots and then I was still contracting here and there so they decided to try giving me a combo of drugs that would knock me out and hopefully fix the problem. Well, the combo of drugs worked, but they made me sick so as I was almost asleep I threw up all over myself. AWFUL! I finally went home and then a couple days later I went in to get an ultrasound and had some results that didn't look so great so I went back to labor and delivery to see if they could figure out why my amniotic fluid had gone done so much in just 1 week, and what to do you while I am there I start having contractions again. This meant another IV and more shots. Since then I haven't been back in for contractions, but I have been pretty sick, with no real answers as to what is going on because everything comes back normal. The last ultrasound I got showed that the baby hadn't grown for a week so they are checking again this week and if he doesn't grow again they will probably decide to do my c section. My Dr. has decided that with all the crazy stuff I keep having she is going to do an amniocentesis on the 4th to check his lungs (which should be good since I had steroids)  and then deliver that day if they are mature. I will be 37 weeks at that point. I am just hoping to make it to then, but I really don't want to go past then because of the fun times I have had lately. My Dr. says I don't have to be on bed rest at this point anymore, and that if I go in in labor she's just going to deliver instead of stop it. I am quite nervous because I don't know what to expect as far as if he will be healthy and able to come right home, but we are still hoping for the best. I am going in with an understanding that he may have to stay, and I have done this before with Havyn, and we can make through again if we have to. I just hope for the best, and really want to be done being pregnant. So let it be known he should be here by the 4th! It will be super exciting to see what he looks like, and at least Koen understands what is going on so I am sure he'll be excited, and hopefully he'll be able to see him the day he is born!

New Things Happening At Our House

 Havyn's Room
 Boy's Room
Boy's Room again and a naked Kai. This room is going to change drastically soon, when the boys get their new to them bunk beds! My dad is working on painting some bunk beds yellow for the boys (that's the color Koen picked, we'll see how it looks). We need the crib for baby Kael so bunk beds it is. I will take new pictures of their room once the beds get done and set up. For now the room is a little crowded, but you know they have sooooo many toys and crap, which I also went through tonight, after this picture, so things are looking a little less crowded.
Our bedroom, and yes Kai was following me around with that popper you see in the corner.
 Another angle of our room.
 The hallway.
 Bathroom
 Bathroom again.
 Living Room
 Dining Room
Kitchen. The big counter top space here is my favorite!

So as you can see we moved! We are starting a new chapter of our lives, I guess you could say. Tyrell starts his student teaching on the 10th, and yes he's nervous, but I know he'll do just great! He also has a new job at the Texas Roadhouse, which is super exciting because he got the job super quickly for one thing, and we get a discount, which is always good! He has started training there, and says it's going to be super busy, but he's loving it so far. We will also be welcoming the new little man to the family here in about 4 to 6 weeks, and he will be sharing a room with Havyn (or at least that is the plan for now). We love our new apartment so far, as it is really nice, cheaper than the last, and only 1 floor instead of 3. As for other news, Havyn and Kai both got tubes put in their ears 2 days before Christmas, and have had a little bit of a hard time adjusting, but are doing well. Kai also had is adenoids removed as another measure to try to get rid of the ear infections since this is his second set of tubes.
