The Many Faces of Teeter

The other night Koen brought me the camera and said "picture", so I took some pictures. He is so funny! He just kept doing all these weird faces and then have me take a picture. Then he would ask to "see him". I'd show him and every time he would say "teeter" cause he thinks that is his name for some reason. You have to call him teeter or he won't answer sometimes. I always worry that when he goes to school we're gonna have to tell his teacher to call him teeter instead of Koen. If you ask him if his name is Koen he'll say "NO! It's TEETER!"

Boo-Boos!

Poor Koen got some pretty good boo-boos today at the park. I thought it would be a good idea to take him to the park to play this morning and he did have fun for a while! Then there was a little baseball team getting ready for practice and he wanted to join them so he started running away from me. Well that ended well! I was chasing after him and he was laughing, of course, and then he tripped. Darn it! I picked him up and saw that we needed to go home and clean him up. His nose was bleeding and by the time I got to the car it was all over my shirt. I felt so bad for him! I decided the mall is a better and safer place for him to go play. Here are some pictures of his cleaned up boo-boos.

Finally Some Nice Days

We have finally had some days that are warm enough to get Koen's pool out and let him have all kinds of fun in the sun! He has really enjoyed this! He loves to have the hose on though so he can chase us around the yard and get us wet. He thinks this is so hilarious. He also likes to take a drink every once in a while.

4 Years!!

Today is the day that Tyrell and I were married 4 years ago! It doesn't seem like it was that long ago! We have learned that though marriage isn't easy all the time is it blissful! In those 4 years we have accomplished much! At one year we were sealed for time and all eternity in the Idaho Falls temple, which was great! It felt so good to finally know that if something happened we would have each other forever. At 1 1/2 years we welcomed our little Koen into the world and were overjoyed! We soon learned that parenting isn't always fun, but it is worth it! I am sure many of you have heard that before! Right before the 2 year mark we bought our first home, and still LOVE it! We have learned that homeownership is a big deal though. YOU have to take care of all the repairs and upkeep! This too has been worth it and it has been fun to see what the projects we have done to our home have made it look like! It looks so much better than when we bought it! It no longer smells like cat pee! Right around the same time we learned that it's okay not to make as much money as we used to so that I can spend more time being a mom! Which I love. Koen is a lot of work, but he is so darn cute and he reminds me just how much 2 year olds really know! Sometimes that is scary! As for the fourth year, today, we saw number 2's little heartbeat! That was wonderful! I have been so worried this time around because we have tried so long to get this baby! We found out finally after 2 fertility specialists and an herbal medicine doctor that I have PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). This is why we have such a hard time having children! Koen truly is a miracle child, I didn't take anything and somehow managed to get pregnant with him. This time around we were not so lucky! After reaching the point we got pregnant with Koen at I started to get discouraged! Luckily the herbal doctor told be to take this herb and a few months later we are expecting! So needless to say I worry a lot, and we want this baby! We are truly blessed to be having a baby and to see that lovely heartbeat today! The due date is Jan. 29, 2009.

Koen's New Favorite Place

Koen has found a new favorite place in the window seal and on top of the air conditioner. Neither one is very safe, but none the less he still climbs in them and looks around for a few minutes and then calls for help! I don't know how to get him to stay out and use his stool! Oh well, I guess if he falls he'll learn and it really isn't that far to the floor. He is such a silly boy!
