My Sister Is A Married Woman

Heather got married yesterday! It was really neat for me to be able to go to the temple and see her get married. Tyrell was not able to come with me though because Koen decided to be throwing up all morning so we canceled the babysitter and Tyrell stayed with the boys while I went. I was the only sibling of either the bride or groom. That was strange, but I felt kinda special. Anyway they were lucky enough to have his great grandpa seal them and that was really neat. I am so proud of her and I wish them the best! Now its time to give my kids COUSINS right? Unfornately she doesn't agree with me, but I never quit hoping she will come around.

Planting Our Garden

We planted our garden this last week. Well I should say that Tyrell did with the help of Koen driving his train through the dirt and me watching because Kai didn't like the grass much. Koen did try to dig with the shovel for a while, but soon decided wreaking all the heals and creating new ones with Spencer (his train) was lots more fun!

First Foods

Well last night I fed Kai his first cereal feeding. He didn't mind it at all. Half of it ended up on the big and all over his face, but what can you expect from a three month old! He was so cute! He LOVES to sit in the high chair and look around I have found. I put him in there and I can actually get something done. Weird. Doesn't much care for the swing, but loves the high chair. You can tell this kid loves food I guess. He slept all night last night too, so maybe he did just need a little more food in his tummy before bed to keep him asleep through the night. We will try again tonight. He is getting huge too!

Daren

Daren has been gone for 6 whole months! I didn't think it would go by so fast, but so far its seems to be. Although, now when I see pictures of him on his mission he looks so much different to me. It makes me miss him too, but I know he is doing something great out there! He is an awesome kid!!! Anyway, I was just thinking about him when I saw this picture and Koen knew exactly who it was so he has NOT forgotten about his uncle Daren he loves so much!!!

Eventful Weekend

We had quite the weekend! Not only was it Easter, but Koen played a T-Ball game and Heather had her bridal shower. All very fun events!!! Koen of course got some new trains from the Easter Bunny. The one he wanted the most we seem to have lost already! I don't know what happened to him. He took him to the doctor last night and had him when we left and now he is GONE! Sad day! He is taking it pretty well though.


Easter Morning
Kai and Koen got visited by their favorite bunny!!! They both loved what they got. Kai is so cute he grins at the froggy he got since it jingles when you shake it. Koen had a blast because we were at Grandma's and he got to have an Easter egg hunt with his cousin Kenzie.

Bridal Shower
Heather's bridal shower was Saturday night and we had a blast! In these pictures Heather has a huge wad of gum in her mouth because every question she answered different that her fiance, David, she had to put another piece of gum in her mouth! She probably didn't enjoy it so much, but it was fun. In the other picture my Grandma is holding Kai. My kids LOVE their great-grandma! They both grin and play with her when they see her. Now Koen thinks she should always chase him. I'm glad they love her and I know she loves them back!



Koen's Game
Koen has finally decided he likes to play T-Ball! YEAH!!! He played two games now and liked it. His favorite part is batting. He gets a little bored after a couple innings though and then you see him laying in the middle of the feild. Kids are so funny at the age of 3.

Family Pictures 2009

We got some pictures done finally, after having to reschedule from Kai being in the hospital. They turned out so good! My friend Abrey did them and she did a SUPER job! Koen wanted to be silly the entire time and amazingly he still got some really cute pictures out of it. You can totally see that he has a spitfire of a personality!

Funny Things Koen Has Said Lately

Well Koen is such a funny kid sometimes! He and his dad usually play fight often and the other night Koen walked up to Tyrell and said as clear as ever "You want a piece of me!" We were both shocked, but it was so funny we couldn't help laughing. He also calls Grandma Snyder, "Grandma nyder", and since we have been trying to teach him our names he calls me "Mom Alicia" and Tyrell is just plain "daddy" he refuses to say his name. This is strange since when I call him hon or babe Koen will say mom, "hon isn't coming" or he'll yell for Babe. He is really a silly boy! Tonight Tyrell was taking care of them and was telling Kai he was his buddy when Koen said "No he's my brother!"
